Hey DMS parents/guardians, this is Mr. Rogers sending out a quick message regarding some important upcoming dates that apply to DMS students in this busy spring season. Please reach out to our office if you have any questions at 683-2368, option 2.

-DMS and BCHS Combined Concert at BW Lodge tonight at 7:30 pm for 7th and 8th grade band and choirs. Choir members need to arrive by 6:15 pm and band members need to arrive by 7:10 pm.
-DMS Academic Olympics Team departs to Bozeman at 5:45 am, tomorrow, 3/17/26.
-DMS Quarter #3 Ends on Friday, 3/20 at 2:40 pm. Reports cards will be sent home with students on Friday, 3/27.
-DMS Pink Out Dance from 7:30pm-9:30 pm on Friday, 3/20/26. Students have to be academically and behaviorally eligible to attend. Cost is $5 per student and money goes to our Annual Cancer Campaign put on by Mrs. Williams.
-DMS Hope Week with student dress up days is scheduled for March 23-March 27. (Mon-PJ Day, Tue-Dress As Your Favorite Celebrity, Wed-Dress As A Disney Character, Thurs-Dress Through The Decades, Fri-Black Out Day-Dress In All Black). DMS dress code applies to dress up days.
-DMS Track for 7th and 8th graders begins on Monday, 3/30 after school until 5:30 pm. There is a parent meeting at 5:30 in the DMS Gym on Tuesday, 3/31/26.
-There is a Noon Release for students and staff on April 2nd, followed by No School From April 3rd-April 6th.
-8th grade individual promotion pictures are on Friday, April 17th starting at 8:30 am-11:00 am. There are no make up pictures for this so if a student is absent, we will use their school picture from this school year. Also, track pictures are after school this day for 7th and 8th graders (picture packets will be coming home after spring break).

Hey DMS 7th and 8th grade choir and band parents/guardians, this is Mr. Rogers sending out information regarding our combined DMS and BCHS concert on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 7:30 pm at the BW Lodge.

All choir students need to report to the gym by 6:15 pm. All band students need to report to the gym by 7:10 pm.

Students are expected to dress nicely for this concert (slacks and collared shirts for boys, dresses for girls).

Hey DMS wrestling parents/guardians, just a couple of quick updates as we head into the final days of the season. First, regular practice tomorrow, 3/12/26 until 5:30 pm. Second, there is NO PRACTICE on Friday, 3/13/26 as we will be setting up the BW Lodge for Saturday's home tournament. Third, if you are willing and able to help set up the BW Lodge, we will start setting up at 4:00 pm on Friday, 3/13/26. Finally, please have wrestlers to the BW Lodge by 8:45 am on Saturday, 3/14/26 to warm up as wrestling begins at 10:00 am.

The bus leave time for DMS 7th and 8th grade wrestling to Anaconda today, 3/10/26, has been adjusted to 1:00 pm. As a reminder, 6th grade wrestlers have regular practice after school.

Hey DMS wrestling parents/guardians, just a couple of reminders about the schedule for this unique week. No Practice today or tomorrow, 3/2 and 3/3, due to Parent/Teacher Conferences. No Practice on Wednesday, 3/4. Thursday, 3/5, 7th and 8th grade wrestlers depart to Butte Central at the MAC Center at 1:00 pm and 6th grade wrestlers have regular practice after school until 5:30 pm. Friday, 3/6, No Practice as there is no school. Saturday, 3/7, all 6th-8th grade wrestlers depart to The Butte Civic Center at 7:30 am.

Good morning and sorry for the early message. Unfortunately, due to a power outage, the bus barn is having a hard time getting buses out of the bus barn. In town routes will be 20-30 minutes late this morning, Wednesday, February 18th. For more information, please tune into the radio station. School will still begin at the normal time.

Hey 7th grade girls basketball parents/guardians, there will only be ONE 7th grade game tomorrow, 2/10/26, when our team travels to Butte East. Unfortunately, Butte East has a large number of girls out due to injury and sickness. The game will be play at 4:00 pm at Butte East Middle School.

Hello DMS parents/guardians, this is Mr. Rogers sending out some activity updates. First, DMS wrestling for 6th-8th grade starts today, 2/9/26, after school until 5:30 pm. There is a DMS wrestling parent meeting in the DMS gym on Tuesday, 2/10/26 @ 5:30 pm. Second, the DMS Math Counts Team Departs to MT Tech on 2/10/26 @ 7:30 am. Third, the county spelling bee is at the 4-H building at the Beaverhead County Fairgrounds at 1:00 pm on 2/10/26 if your child was selected as a school finalist. Fourth, today's, 2/9/26, girls basketball games in Anaconda will be played at Fred Moodry (7th A @ 4:00 pm, 8th A @ 5:00 pm). Tomorrow, 2/10/26, our 7th and 8th grade A and B teams play at Butte East Middle School (7th/8th B @ 4:00 pm), 7th/8th A @ 5:00 pm). Tomorrow, 2/10/26, will be the last day for ALL DMS 6th-8th grade girls basketball. Reach out to our office at 683-2368 for questions or clarifications.
