Hi everyone! As the holiday season is quickly approaching, we will be hosting an item collection drive for the Domestic Violence Shelter. We will be set up in the entryway of Stoxen Library/ May Hall to collect items on November 19th from 10am - 1pm and the 20th from 11am - 2pm. Those who bring items to donate will have the chance to be entered into drawings for gift cards to local businesses! Please refer to the images for items that the shelter is in need of! Thank you!

Our Meet the Candidates forums are going well! On the 15th we heard some great points from Al Jaeger and Kelly Armstrong. We encourage everyone to come join us at 5pm in Beck Auditorium for our event tonight, October 22, where we will welcome Mike Lefor and Rep. Kevin Cramer.

Dickinson State University's League of Political Scientist, a student group,  is urging people to get out and vote with a series of candidate forums to educate voters about the people running in this upcoming election.

We had a great time this evening with our first round of candidates in our series of Meet the Candidates events! We heard some great points and positive goals from Jeannie Brandt, Casey Buchmann, Kylie Oversen, Fern Pokorny, and Keith Fernsler!

We hope everyone will join the League of Political Scientists/ History Society and the College Election Engagement Project for our upcoming events:

October 15: Kelly Armstrong, 5pm Beck Auditorium
October 18: Heitkamp & Cramer Debate Watch Party, 6pm (location TBD)
October 22: Kevin Cramer and District 37 Republican Candidates, 5pm Beck Auditorium
November 1: Travis Brazelton (District 37 Dem-NPL Candidate) 2pm (location TBD)

Jeannie Brandt is running for Public Service Commissioner, Kylie Oversen is running for Tax Commissioner, Keith Frensler is running for North Dakota House of Representatives in District #37, and Casey Buchmann is running for Public Service Commissioner.

This event is being put on by the League of Political Scientist and the College Election Engagement Project.
