Dickinson Middle School recently hosted its Peer to Peer Party, bringing students, families, and team members together to connect and get to know one another.

This year, the program has doubled in participation compared to last year, reflecting continued growth and student involvement. The event provided an opportunity for team members to introduce themselves, welcome new participants, and begin building meaningful connections with their peers and families.

We look forward to seeing these relationships continue to grow throughout the school year.

Dickinson High School understood the Homecoming assignment.

Friday’s celebrations brought students and staff together for a spirited pep rally featuring the DHS A Ca****la National Anthem performance, the DHS Cheer Team, and Student Council-led games. The afternoon showcased the energy, enthusiasm, and school spirit that filled DHS throughout the week.

The celebration continued under the Friday night lights with a Maverick victory, the crowning of 2026 Homecoming Queen Olivia Easum and King Jaret Meek, recognizing the 2026 Athletic Hall of Fame inductees, and an outstanding halftime performance by the DHS Marching Band.

A packed gym, a Maverick win and a night to remember. That’s how you close out Homecoming Week! 🧡

Dickinson Public Schools would like to congratulate the 10 students who have successfully passed their Class A CDL test! Earning this industry-recognized credential while still in high school is an impressive accomplishment and reflects their hard work and dedication.

Through Southwest Area CTE Academy's Intro to CDL program, students gain real-world experience through classroom instruction, commercial driving simulators, hands-on vehicle operation, and supervised driving.

We are proud to celebrate these students and the opportunities SWCTE provides to help students build valuable skills, earn credentials, and prepare for careers beyond high school.

Congratulations on this outstanding achievement!

Students at Prairie Rose Elementary put gratitude into action during PAWS for Unity, a special 9/11 event honoring local veterans and first responders.

Organized by the Prairie Rose Student Council and Peer to Peer, the event gave students meaningful opportunities to show their appreciation. Students created goodie bags for veterans and first responders, helped set up and serve a community lunch, welcomed guests, and made sure those in attendance knew how much their service is valued.

The entire school also took part in a Unity Walk, with students from every grade level coming together to show their support and appreciation for the veterans and first responders who serve our community.

Through these acts of service, students experienced firsthand how a simple “thank you,” their time, and thoughtful actions can make a meaningful impact.

PAWS for Unity was made possible through grant funding and the dedication of Prairie Rose students, staff, families, and community partners who helped bring the event together.

Thank you to everyone who made this special day possible, and most importantly, thank you to our veterans and first responders for your service, sacrifice, and commitment to our community!

Dickinson Public Schools was honored to welcome North Dakota State Superintendent Levi Bachmeier to our schools on Wednesday!

Superintendent Bachmeier began his visit at Roosevelt Elementary, where he spent time engaging with students and visiting classrooms. During a schoolwide assembly, he spoke with students about the significance of Jenna Nokes being named a semifinalist for North Dakota Teacher of the Year before formally recognizing her for this outstanding achievement. 🍎👏

He also toured the Southwest Area CTE Academy to learn more about the hands-on learning opportunities available to students across our region.

The visit concluded with a roundtable discussion with teachers at Prairie Rose Elementary focused on how the ND Department of Public Instruction can continue supporting educators across the state in the classroom.

Thank you, Superintendent Bachmeier and your team, for visiting DPS, listening to our educators, connecting with our students, and celebrating the great work happening in our schools!
