Eastern New Mexico State Fair!
The team did an amazing job of getting our trucks ready for this year's parade! We are always amazed at the dedication that our members have, always ready to serve their community and show off the trucks when they get a chance.

It is with heavy hearts that Midway Fire and EMS announces the passing of Retired Captain Jeff Smith, a dedicated volunteer firefighter who proudly served his community for 35 years. Jeff was a founding member of the department.

Jeff answered the call countless times, giving his time, strength, and heart to protect and serve his community. His years of service will never be forgotten.

He was not only a firefighter, but a friend, a brother, and a valued member of the Midway Fire and EMS family. His legacy will live on in the lives of those he touched throughout his years of service.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and fellow firefighters during this difficult time.

Thank you for your 35 years of dedicated service, Captain Smith. You answered the call and served your community with honor. Your duty is complete, your legacy will live on, and your brothers and sisters will never forget you.
