PLEASE SHARE…..CHICKEN BBQ THIS Sunday 5/17/26…
We will be having our second Chicken BBQ of the year at our Dexter Station! It is drive thru only. Also to go with the chicken will be our amazing Mac Salad, baked beans, and a dinner roll. All for $15 dollars! We will begin serving at 11:30AM so make sure you’re there early to reassure your spot in line as we are ONLY serving 250 dinners! This will be our second Chicken BBQ this year!
All proceeds go to the Dexter Vol. Fire Dept INC! Thank you always for your continued support. We hope to see you THIS SUNDAY!

Last night, the Dexter Fire Department held their Annual Banquet at the Absolute Breeze Event Center. It was another amazing night celebrating a successful year and honoring some of our amazing individuals.

John Stano received a plaque, commending him for his 50 years of dedicated service to the DFD. John has been one of our most impactful members during his time with us and we certainly would not be where we are today without him.

Liz Kellar received the 2026 DFD INC Member of the Year award. Liz has been in charge of our Auxiliary for many years and she is irreplaceable when it comes to all she does for the firefighters, auxiliary, and everyone else. Liz also made history last night becoming our first Auxiliary member to ever receive this award.

Lastly, we honored three of our members with awards from the Town of Brownville Joint Fire District as well as a Commendation Award from the Office of 49th District Senator Mark Walczyk due to their extraordinary efforts in saving a life at a cardiac arrest emergency last May. Drew Heise, Nathan Young, and Scott LaSage all received these honors.

All in all it was another amazing night, celebrating and honoring our members who continue to perform great effort into making our department what it is. Thank you to all and congratulations to all. We look forward to another successful year.
