Spring Fling Dinner Dance
Dexter Age Friendly is planning a Spring Fling Dinner Dance for Dexter seniors. Come and dance away your troubles to the music of a live band. The festivities begin at 5 P.M. on Saturday, June 14th at Dexter’s VFW hall on Cedar street. First on the agenda, we’ll be serving appetizers with liquid refreshment. Dinner will be served at 6 P.M. to be followed by dancing to a live band, playing all your old-time favorites. Don’t know how to dance? A little rusty on your dance steps? Don’t worry, instruction in the correct steps will be given. Lost your dance partner? Come with your best friend, male or female. Just make sure to wear your best bib and tucker. This is a dressed-up affair. Gowns and dresses and suits and ties are required. Tickets are limited. Make reservations at 924-7292 before June 6th. This event is being funded by a grant to Dexter Age Friendly from Life Long Maine.
