She’s got the sweetest eyes, a shaggy little face, and a whole lot of love to give. 🥰 She may be a little unsure of her surroundings right now, but she is patiently waiting for someone to see just how special she is.

🐶 She deserves a family.
🏡 She deserves a warm bed.
❤️ Most of all, she deserves to be loved.

***Update ***
As of 8/31/26 our office received confirmed information that on April 23rd, 2026 around 8pm that Darin was in the McVille area on his motorcycle. Darin was wearing a distinct black leather motorcycle jacket with fringe and a bandana when he was last seen.
Darin may have driven gravel roads to get back to Cooperstown.

We are asking any and landowners between McVille and Cooperstown to please be on the lookout for any possible spots on your land that maybe able to conceal a motorcycle. With special attention to those near roadways and old farmsteads.

Let's all continue to work together and bring Darin home.

The North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation proudly recognizes the Lake Region Law Enforcement Center for earning its Substance Abuse Treatment Program License—an outstanding achievement that reflects months of planning, collaboration, and dedicated work. Lake Region continues to demonstrate innovation and strong community leadership. In addition to housing individuals through the DOCR overflow program, the facility had also partnered with local treatment providers, and now with a becoming a licensed substance use treatment program they can continue to expand access to meaningful programming and support services for those in its custody and care.

Becoming a licensed substance use treatment program is a significant accomplishment. It strengthens rehabilitation and recovery opportunities, supports successful reintegration, and contributes to improved public safety and healthier communities. Congratulations to Director Starr Klemetsrud, Victoria Church, LAC, LAPC and the Lake Region staff, and everyone who contributed to this important milestone. Your commitment, professionalism, and willingness to develop innovative solutions are making a meaningful difference across North Dakota.

Today at our Law Enforcement Center board meeting, we recognized 4 of our Correctional Officers with Lifesaving Awards. Congratulations, Daniel, Keaton, Kylen, and Khloe!

UPDATE ***FOUND SAFE***

ATTENTION: Beginning tomorrow morning at 7:30 AM, City Utility crews will be shutting down 12th Ave SE from 5th St SE to Fair St SE to allow crews to repair a leak on a gate valve along 12th Ave SE. To complete this work, water service will be shut down for residences along this stretch, and potentially Agassiz Courts and Southview Estates, beginning at 9 AM until the work has been completed. Crews are hoping to complete the work by mid-afternoon and have water service restored and the roadway opened back up.

Please obey all construction signs when using this area. Updates will be provided as they become available. Thank you for patience!
