🚨STOLEN CAMPER RECOVERED 🚨

The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office, in coordination with the Benson County Sheriff’s Office, has successfully concluded an investigation involving a stolen camper reported out of the 6 Mile Bay area.

Through coordinated efforts and the use of specialized investigative techniques, law enforcement was able to locate both the suspect and the vehicle involved. The camper was recovered in Benson County, and a suspect has since been taken into custody.

The individual was transported to the Lake Region Law Enforcement Center, where they are currently being held pending further legal proceedings.

This case highlights the strong partnership between neighboring agencies and the continued commitment to protecting our communities.

🚨 Update Following First Initial Post: Community Assistance Requested 🚨

The Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in gathering information regarding an incident that occurred on April 9, 2026, involving a male individual who sustained injuries walking southbound along Highway 20 near the areas of the Ranch, Devil’s Lake Rural Fire Department, and Ed’s Bait Shop. All available video footage has been obtained, and we are continuing efforts to locate any additional footage from areas not yet accounted for.

The individual was observed between the hours of 6:18 AM - 6:25 AM, walking south near the Coke plant. Investigators are seeking any information related to this incident, including:
• Witness accounts
• Surveillance video from nearby residences or businesses
• Any observations of the individual during that time frame

If you saw anything or have information that may assist in this investigation, please contact the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office or submit a tip through the 411 Tip Line.
