June invites families to play and learn together through small, everyday moments. This calendar offers a month of easy at-home activities for young children, with short prompts that encourage singing, storytelling, drawing, and exploring the world around them. From summer celebrations to silly themed days, each activity helps support early literacy and family connections. Happy summer!

The NDSD/RC campus will be CLOSED on Monday, May 25, 2026, in celebration of Memorial Day, a day to pay tribute to the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, inspiring us to live with purpose and gratitude.

NDSD/RC students and staff celebrated the end of the 2025-2026 school year with Awards Day and luncheon. Congratulations to all those who were honored for their achievements!

"Float Into Summer" was the theme for our last afternoon of school. Students and education staff started with a swim in the NDSD pool, followed by a variety of yard games. To top it all off, everyone enjoyed an ice cream FLOAT. Have a safe and happy summer!

Congratulations to NDSD/RC's PreK teacher, Kale Smith.👏 Today he received his Master's of Science in Special Education with an emphasis in Deaf Education from Minot State University! He was also chosen to give a Graduate Student Commencement Speech (see below), earned an Outstanding Thesis or Research, and a Graduate Citation of Excellence awards!👏NDSD/RC is proud of you and feel very lucky to have you teaching at our school.🤟
