The City of Detroit Office of Inspector General recently published a report regarding allegations that the Detroit Department of Transportation (DDOT) misused city vehicles and employees to drive an employee to and from their home in Macomb County. The OIG found that DDOT wasted City resources, including more than $40,000 in overtime pay to facilitate the employee's commute.
