Mosquito season is not over, and West Nile Virus activity in Michigan typically peaks in late August and early September. A few simple steps can help protect you and your family from mosquito bites.
Remember to always:
• Use EPA-registered insect repellent
• Limit time outdoors at dawn and dusk
• Wear long sleeves, pants and socks
• Empty standing water around your home
• Repair window and door screens
