If Mike Rogers wants to deflect from the machines at the center of these tragedies and talk about how mental health issues can lead to violence, let’s be honest about who is actually committing these acts and who is most often the victim.

The guy is running to be a Senator and his solution is “do ‘something’ about mental health.” It’s giving “concept of a plan.”

School boards are on the ballot in Michigan! Your local schools affect you even if you don’t have kids in the district, yet these races are plagued with low turnout. Not to mention, school boards have become testing grounds for broader social policy.

These non-partisan races can also be tricky, with Moms for Liberty and other extremists trying to sneak in under the radar to ban books, dictate curriculum and police who’s allowed to play certain sports or use certain bathrooms.

Some red flags to look out for:
🚩 “parental rights”
🚩 have no connection to the district
🚩 “back to basics” (though not always)
🚩 any mention of CRT or gender ideologies
