In the month of February 2017 Beauty For Ashes (BFA) was established as a nonprofit advocating for women restarting their lives after experiencing a hardship. Abuse and cancer are target causes that BFA acquires monetary and social capital in order to combat these issues

. BFA's goal is to assist women in need during their transition into wholeness. Over time BFA’s vision is to send thousands of women on a more positive journey after a life crisis.

This book is dear to me as it details the true story of how I've overcome Domestic Violence in the form of an intriguing novel. I've always had a desire to help other women from my story, and I didn't know how my voice was going to be heard until the Lord dropped writing a book into my spirit. As time passed, I learned about the increasing number of women who have either lost their lives or who have had their lives permanently changed by domestic violence; so I knew I had to follow through with writing this book. Though men and children suffer from Domestic Violence as well, women still are the number one victims of this type of abuse. As I post snippets of the book, feel free to comment and/or ask questions, and of course, please share! Thank you for coming along on this journey - I hope it inspires, illuminates, and uplifts.
