Si informa la gentile utenza che, a partire dal 23 settembre, questo Consolato attiverà un servizio di supporto telefonico per assistere gli utenti di età pari o superiore a 60 anni nella prenotazione degli appuntamenti online attraverso il portale Prenot@mi e nelle pratiche anagrafiche in FAST IT.

Il servizio sarà disponibile ogni mercoledì dalle ore 10:00 alle ore 12:00, chiamando il numero (313) 798-9003.

Questo servizio si aggiunge al servizio telefonico di informazioni sui servizi consolari, attivo dallo scorso febbraio dal lunedì al venerdì, dalle ore 9:00 alle ore 16:00, al medesimo numero: (313) 798-9003.

🇺🇸 TELEPHONE ASSISTANCE SERVICE FOR APPOINTMENT BOOKING FOR USERS AGED 60 AND OVER

The Consulate is pleased to inform the public that, starting September 23, a telephone assistance service will be available to help users aged 60 and over in booking appointments online through the Prenot@mi portal and complete registrations on FAST IT.

The service will be available every Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. by calling (313) 798-9003.

This service is in addition to the Consulate’s telephone information service for consular matters, which has been available since last February, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at the same number: (313) 798-9003.

🇮🇹 Discovering the Italian art of aperitivo, one small bite at a time! 🍹

It was a pleasure to join the NOI Foundation for a special evening dedicated to one of Italy’s most beloved traditions: the aperitivo.

More than just food and drinks, the Italian aperitivo is a moment of conviviality — a chance to slow down, come together, share conversation, and enjoy good company.

During the evening, participants also had the opportunity to experience this tradition firsthand through a cooking class, learning how to prepare some of the small bites that make an authentic Italian aperitivo so special.

A wonderful way to promote Italian culture through its cuisine, traditions and, above all, its unique spirit of togetherness.

Grazie to the NOI Foundation and to everyone who joined us for this celebration of Italian culture! 🇮🇹✨

A weekend celebrating faith, Italian culture, and community, with a rich program of activities including Mass, a 2K/5K Walk/Run, the Italian Heritage Street Fair, the inauguration of the San Francesco statue, a community lunch, the screening of Franco Zeffirelli’s Fratello sole, sorella luna, and a concert by Aaron Caruso & Friends.

Entro il 4 novembre, devi iscriverti nell’elenco elettori inviando la richiesta al tuo Consolato di riferimento per posta ordinaria, e-mail e PEC, allegando copia di un documento d’identità, o presentandoti di persona al Consolato.

There's a new way to book Italian passport application appointments in Indianapolis!

Since February of this year, owing to the initiative of the Consulate of Italy in Detroit and to the generous collaboration of The International Center, Italian citizens resident in Indiana can book an appointment with the Honorary Consul of Italy in Indianapolis to have their biometric data recorded - and save themselves some travel.

After the appointment, the complete application paperwork can simply be mailed to the Passport Office in Detroit, and the brand new passport will arrive at home in the mail.

To make things even easier, there is a new service available to book appointments with the Honorary Consul.

Please do make sure you read all instructions and conditions on the booking page before you request an appointment!

The Honorary Consul's services are free of charge, but appointments are subject to approval: applicants must be Italian citizens, resident in Indiana, reside lawfully in the United States, and be registered in AIRE with an updated Indiana address.

Children younger than 12 are not required to provide biometric data, so they don't need an appointment.

Con il Decreto 2/2026 sono state indette le elezioni per il rinnovo dei Comitati degli Italiani all’Estero, organismi che promuovono gli interessi delle comunità italiane all’estero, favoriscono l’inserimento dei connazionali e preservano la memoria storica dell’immigrazione. Ricordati che per votare devi iscriverti entro il 4 novembre nell'elenco degli elettori del tuo Consolato.

Rd. - Canton, MI 48188) per l’autentica delle firme dei sottoscrittori alle liste di candidati alla carica di membri del ComItEs di Detroit. Si precisa che i sottoscrittori: devono risultare iscritti nell’elenco degli elettori residenti, non possono essere candidati, non possono sottoscrivere più di una lista.
