Today, we are thrilled to spotlight our four culinary artist & the dishes they plan to prepare:
Chef Helina Melaku - Ethiopian Cuisine
Misir - vibrant, deeply spiced Ethiopian and Eritrean red lentil stew. Cooked down to a thick, creamy consistency with caramelized onions, garlic, and berbere (a rich, fiery Ethiopian spice blend)
Chicken Tibs - classic Ethiopian dish featuring boneless chicken sautรฉed with garlic, ginger, onions, jalapeรฑos, and traditional spices like berbere
Chef Nikta Sanches - Russian Cuisine
Golubtsi - cabbage leaves wrapped around a variety of fillings.
Lazy Varniki - traditional Eastern European cheese dumplings that taste like sweet, fluffy gnocchi.
Chef Alina Alam - Pakistani/Indian Cuisine
Samosas - fried or baked pastry with a savory filling, originating from the Indian subcontinent, typically filled with spiced potatoes, onions, and peas, but also with meat, paneer, or other variations
Zarda - traditional boiled sweet rice dish, native to the Indian subcontinent, made with saffron, milk and sugar, and flavoured with cardamom, raisins, pistachios or almonds
Chef Jasmine Haskins - Asian Fusion Cuisine
Assorted Steamed Dumplings - mouth-watering, delicate selection of both meat and vegetable varieties.
Gang Garee (Thai Yellow Curry) & Steamed Rice - rich, mild, and aromatic Thai curry loaded with fresh vegetables, coconut milk, and potatoes. Influenced by Indian and Malaysian cuisines, this warm, family-friendly dish is the ultimate comfort food.
