We're excited to announce we are the recipient of the 2026 Childhood Bereavement Changemaker Initiative! This is an evaluation capacity building program, valued at over $60,000.

Developed by Judi's House in partnership with the New York Life Foundation, this initiative helps agencies like ours understand and use data to strengthen services for bereaved children and families.

We will be equipped with data to inform planning, influence change, increase our funding, and grow our overall impact—ultimately ensuring bereaved children in metro Detroit have the care they need.

We are so grateful we were given opportunity to present at the Kids-TALK Children’s Advocacy Center this week. Our presentation, "When Grief Walks in the Door: Supporting Children Through Loss with Compassion and Clarity," was a success with over 180 people in attendance!

This confirmed the need for more grief education. We received many questions with an active Q and A session following the talk. Thank you to all who attended and for supporting our mission!
