District 4, let’s come together to keep our neighborhoods clean, safe, and beautiful. Join us for District 4 Alley Maintenance Day, part of our year-round Motor City Makeover 365 effort!

Whether you're organizing neighbors, a block club, or a group of friends, register your volunteer group with the City of Detroit to get free cleanup supplies and arrange special trash pick-ups for your site. Once signed up, our District Managers will share all the details on where to collect your supplies.

Hello, District 4!

Following the recent storms, here is a quick guide on who to contact and how to report issues around your neighborhood:

- Downed Wires: Call DTE Energy at (800) 477-4747 (stay at least 25 feet away) or call 911 for immediate danger.

- Street or Basement Flooding: Call DWSD at (313) 267-8000.

- Property Safety Concerns: Call BSEED at (313) 224-3257.

- Standing Water & Tree Debris: Submit a request through the 'Improve Detroit' app, online at detroitmi.gov/improvedetroit, or call 313-590-3336 to report tree debris.

Please check the fliers below for full instructions on reporting hazards, submitting debris pickup requests, and preparing branches for curb pickup. Stay safe and look out for your neighbors!

We got a firsthand look at daily life inside the stations, learned about their unique operational roles, and saw how each engine, ladder, and squad unit helps keep our neighborhoods safe.
