🔆 FREE summer meal programs being offered in Wadena-Deer Creek Public Schools starting June 2.

Where: Wadena Elementary School cafeteria (215 Colfax Ave SW Wadena MN)
When: June 2- Aug 14, 2025
**NOTE: No meals will be served Fridays in July and August, No Meals will be served on June 19, and Aug 4-6

Time:
Breakfast 8:00am-8:30am
Lunch 11:00am-12:45pm

Adults meal cost: Breakfast: $3.10 | Lunch: $5.50

Justice North (formerly Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota) will host a Legacy Links Estate Planning Clinic for low-income homeowners in Moorhead on Wednesday, June 24th.

This will ensure low-income homeowners in greater Minnesota receive essential estate planning services, we are asking for your help in identifying and referring eligible clients and in spreading the word.

To apply for a Legacy Links clinic appointment, you and/or the homeowner may call 218.322.6035.

MN Comprehensive Aging Survey

The Minnesota Comprehensive Aging Survey is a statewide survey that asks older Minnesotans about their daily lives, needs, and experiences.
• You can take this survey if you’re 60 or older and live in Minnesota.
• The survey is optional and takes about 20 minutes.
• Your answers are private and won’t be linked to your name.

The Minnesota Department of Human Services and Minnesota Board on Aging are working with Vital Research, an independent research company, to run this survey. Your answers will help the State of Minnesota improve services and supports for you and your community.

☀️💦 Help every child make a splash this summer! 💦☀️

The NYM Family Resource Center is hosting a June Swimsuit Drive and we’re now accepting donations of new or gently used, freshly laundered children’s swimwear through June 30.

📍 Drop off donations at the NYM Family Resource Center office (upper level of the City Center Building).

All donated swimwear will be available for local families to browse and take at the NYM Legried Community Pool for the 2026 season.

Thank you for helping support local children and families this summer! 🩱🩳🌊
