Thanks to generous local donors, we can now afford to double the ground beef we buy for each recipient family. The next monthly food distribution for residents of the DeSoto and Sunrise School Districts and Richwoods, MO is on Saturday, September 12 from 9 am to Noon.
We have eggs, nectarines, grapes, plums, other fresh produce, snacks, milk, butter, frozen meats & more and a nice variety of locally donated canned goods.

Thank you all for the donations given for the "Sunday Afternoon Drive... a food drive that is." And also the $50 donation given by a fellow patron...
The Sunday Afternoon Drive... is a food drive I offer for the opportunity to be able to give back for all the support given to us here at the Melba Theatre throughout our years. Don't cost you nothing, but maybe a can good to help someone else.

Forgive the photo, but a big thanks to Paul for showing up and collecting the donations and taking it back to the local food pantry here in town. Much obliged for the pick up and hopefully we'll have another batch of donations for you soon.

We are grateful that the Whirlpool Corporation donated two slightly damaged refrigerators to the DeSoto Food Pantry, Contact. These will help increase our capacity to handle perishable produce and dairy for local families in need.

The next monthly food distribution for residents of the DeSoto and Sunrise School Districts and Richwoods, MO is on Saturday, August 8 from 9 am to Noon.
We have grapes, plums, other fresh produce, snacks, fresh milk, butter, frozen meats & more, a nice variety of locally donated canned goods and loaded back-to-school backpacks for our client's kids.

Thanks so much to all who donated, shopped and assembled the backpacks. A wonderful community effort.

Thank you to our congregation and St. Andrew's United Methodist Church for donating money to buy school supplies to donate to the children in our area. We were able to pack 52 bags!!! Thank you to the DeSoto Food Pantry, Contact for distributing them for us.

The next monthly food distribution for residents of the DeSoto and Sunrise School Districts and Richwoods, MO is on Saturday, June 13 from 9 am to Noon. If you have not signed up in March, April or May, please bring your documentation to signup in order to get food this month. Message us for what is needed.
We have fresh eggs, produce, snacks, gelato, frozen meats & more, bread, a nice variety of locally donated canned goods and shelves of "your choice" food and non-food items.

A big thank you to the DeSoto Knights of Columbus for the 700 food items this morning. The support from them and others keeps us stocked up so we can help neighbors in need.

Thanks so much to Athena students, teachers and families for the 500+ personal care item drive. Body wash, dental care, deodorant and the like contribute to higher self esteem, employment and better health for local folks in need. Area churches and individuals are pitching in on this also to make it a community success.
