πŸ‘‹ Hello, Current NCSD Families! πŸ‘‹

We'd like to send a friendly reminder that the Annual Update & Verification process will be coming up soon! The Annual Update & Verification form will open for current families through the Campus Parent Portal on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. Please see the information below as the process has slightly changed for your convenience. You may also visit the Registration page of our website for more info: https://www.ncsd.k12.mo.us/home/registration.

For CURRENT Families for the 2026-2027 School Year:
βœ… If you have NOT recently moved since you last submitted your Annual Update & Verification for the previous school year, you will need only ONE proof of residency document (POR) uploaded as long as the address on your valid ID MATCHES your POR documentation. In that case, you may upload the same POR in the second required upload spot in the form. Your ID will also need uploaded.

βœ… Proof of Residency documentation must be dated within the last 30 days of the upload date. If you qualify for submitting one form of Proof of Residency documentation, it must be from List A linked here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1E-jrWkgmxzitxCZUd8bLjmDs1w4Frx55/view.

πŸ‘‰ If you have moved since the last Annual Update & Verification for the previous school year, we will need two (2) POR documents uploaded with your ID.

πŸ‘‰ If your ID address and your POR documentation address do not match, you must present two POR documents.
This adjustment was made in an effort to increase convenience for our current families and to help us remain consistent with other area school districts. Should you have any questions, please call (573) 431-3300.

🚨 Brand NEW families to NC may begin submitting their enrollment applications found on the Registration page of our website starting on July 1! If you know a new family to the district, please feel free to share this detail with them and ask them to follow this page for that announcement.

Thank you!

For this , we are excited to spotlight two outstanding teachers: Ms. Bordeau and Ms. Harris.

Ms. Bordeau is one of our amazing 5th grade math teachers! 🌟
Even in her first year as a math instructor at NCIS, Ms. Bordeau has already made a tremendous impact on our students and school community. She works hard every day to support the academic and social-emotional needs of her students while creating a classroom environment where students feel safe, encouraged, and motivated to learn.

Jessica is always looking for ways to grow and improve her instructional strategies to better meet the needs of her students. Her willingness to learn, reflect, and continuously improve speaks volumes about her dedication to the teaching profession and to the success of her students.

She is also a fantastic teammate who is always willing to support her colleagues and contribute however she can. Her positive attitude, teamwork, and commitment to students have already made her a valued part of the NCIS family.

We are proud to celebrate Ms. Bordeau and the positive difference she is making at NCIS! Keep up the great work!

Our next Teacher Proud Tuesday spotlight shines on one of our outstanding 6th grade math teachers, Mrs. Harris! 🌟

Mrs. Harris makes a tremendous impact on our school each and every day through the care, support, and dedication she gives to her students and coworkers. She goes above and beyond to support students both academically and socially-emotionally, always making sure students feel encouraged, supported, and successful in her classroom. Whether it’s sitting down one-on-one with a student who may be struggling or finding different ways to help concepts click, Mrs. Harris consistently puts students first.

Beyond her classroom, Kirsten is a true team player and leader within our building. She is always willing to lend a helping hand, cover duties when needed, and support her fellow teachers however she can. As a mentor and support to the 6th grade math team, she continuously works to help strengthen instruction and collaboration across the team.

NCIS is incredibly fortunate to have educators like Mrs. Harris who lead with heart, positivity, and dedication every single day. Thank you for all you do for our students, staff, and school community!
