This Saturday our DHSHS Band program was very proud to be a part of the very first PSUSD Honor Band concert! We were lucky enough to experience working with guest vocalist Chelsea Chavez, and guest conductor Dr. Gregory Whitmore, who truly brought all the students together to perform five beautiful pieces! Huge thanks to all who came out to support us 🎶😊🦅

🎺All invited to the inaugural PSUSD Honor Band Concert on Saturday, April 25 at 7 p.m. at the Richards Center for the Arts. This special ensemble is composed of student musicians from Cathedral City High School, Desert Hot Springs High School, Rancho Mirage High School, and Palm Springs High School, all of whom were nominated by their Band Directors. The concert will be conducted by Dr. Gregory Whitmore of CSU Fullerton and will also feature soprano soloist Chelsea Chaves and narration by Classical KUSC radio host Rich Capparela. Admission is free and open to the public. Please join us! 🎶

So proud of our Golden Eagle Regiment and the amazing performance they put on at champs this weekend topping all of their previous scores this season, and winning the audience choice award! What an amazing run our show pathways has had, and we are so sad to see our seniors leaving us as they make their own pathway. We will never forget all the memories made on and off the field, and we are so excited to see what’s in store for them and the rest of the band as this season ends and the next begins! 🦅🌟💫💙

Our Golden Eagle Regiment had a busy weekend with 8th grade day, the Desert Hot Springs homecoming parade, homecoming football game, and the big orange classic comp at RCC! We had so much fun and are looking forward to senior night this Friday at our home football game 😎🌟🦅
