Earlier this month, IEDA welcomed over 100 guests from around the work to its annual International Dinner in Des Moines, bringing together partners from more than 25 countries.
From meat and grain to processing and allied industries, leaders from across the U.S. joined international partners to exchange insights and strengthen relationships. Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig and industry leaders shared insights on trade partnerships and shared appreciation for continued business with overseas partners.
Iowa State University President David Cook also attended, underscoring the importance of global collaboration and innovation within Iowa’s agricultural and research communities.
In partnership with America's Cultivation Corridor, Iowa Corn Promotion Board, Iowa Pork Producers Association, and Iowa Soybean Association, the event highlighted the critical role of international trade in Iowa’s farm economy.
