Kelley sampled McSorley Creek on August 30. We observed that stream flow data, acquired from the King County database, indicated that stream level and stream flow were low. Dissolved oxygen was below the minimum concentration for a healthy aquatic environment. No turbidity was detected. Alkalinity and hardness were above the recommended minimum, and the pH reading was slightly alkaline, but normal. The E. Coli count was above the standard for a single sample, and exceeded the three-month geometric mean standard for recreational activity.
