Community Caregivers of Greater Derry is a non-profit volunteer caregiving group that has been assisting local seniors since 1988 with tasks that become difficult to maintain as one ages such as light chores, transportation and grocery shopping. Transportation - Medical Appointments;
Visitation - Friendly Visiting, Letter Writing, Companionship;
Errands - General and Grocery Shopping;
Chores - L

ight Housekeeping, Laundry, Minor Repairs;
Limited Respite Care - Provide A Break For Family And Friends Who Are Providing Continual Care;
Referrals - Provide Information And Referrals To Appropriate Sources;

Well folks, we have just over an hour till the official event ends (leaderboard and contests) but our site will take donations through Friday evening.

Happy to report we have exceeded our goal of $17,000 but would love to jump higher in the leaderboard to acknowledge our impact and fill in the gap of a town that was not able to fund us for the first time in 38 years.

Their team provided carpet cleaning services at a charitable rate and went above and beyond to help transform a client's home. They tackled challenging carpet conditions and also assisted with removing old furniture and making room for donated replacements.

They handled the project with dignity. Because of their kindness, professionalism, and willingness to give back, our client now has a cleaner, comfortable, and more welcoming home.
