DeRidder Parks and Recreation This is the official page for the City of DeRidder’s Parks and Recreation Department. The City of DeRidder's West Park Pool opened in August of 2015.

The community facility is family friendly and offers something for all ages. Slides, spray elements, lap lanes, and a zero depth entry make the pool a wonderful summertime retreat for kids and adults. The facility also offers a concession area with a variety of refreshment options, a "party"/classroom, and locker/restroom areas that have lockers and showers, in addition to changing areas. Programs

that will be offered at the West Park Pool in 2021 include Aqua Aerobics, American Red Cross Swimming Lessons and Lifeguard Training, Semi/Private Party options, Lap Swimming, and plenty of Open Recreation hours for family enjoyment!

Fitness 2 Go returns to the West Park Pool on Tuesday, June 2!

Class starts at 5:30 P.M.

No registration necessary, just show up!

No swimming skills are required, and a lifeguard is on duty for each class.

Cost is $10 for a 1 hour class.

$15 for a pair - bring a friend!

$40 for 5 classes.

*Classes (weather-permitting) are every Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 P.M., and on Saturdays at 9 A.M.*

‼️Due to vandalism at Veterans Park (Pernici Park), water supply has been cut off. This causes the Splash Pad and the restrooms to be CLOSED. At this time, there is no time frame on when the repairs will be made, but we will keep everyone posted. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
