It is with heavy hearts that we announce that after much thought, prayer, and consideration, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to close our doors.

This was not an easy choice, and one that did not come without many emotions. We are beyond grateful for the love, loyalty, and support that this community has shown us throughout the years. Whether you stopped by for a meal, celebrated special occasions with us, or simply became part of our restaurant family, you helped make this journey truly special.

We want to sincerely thank each and every customer, friend, employee, and supporter who has been part of our story. The memories made within these walls will stay with us forever.

Our final day of service will be tonight Saturday, June 6th. We would love the opportunity to see familiar faces one last time and personally thank you for being part of our journey.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting us and allowing us to serve this wonderful community. We will forever be grateful.

In March 2025 we were so honored to co-host the 90th Anniversary celebration of Simmons Tractor and to celebrate the 90th birthday of its beloved matriarch, Mary Lou Jantz.

Our community was privileged to gather and recognize one of the longest-serving businesses in Beauregard Parish. Mary Lou was just a baby when her parents opened Simmons Tractor, and she spent a lifetime helping build the legacy that has touched so many lives throughout our parish.

She later married the love of her life, Gene Jantz, and together they raised three children while continuing the family tradition of hard work, dedication, and service to our community.

We are deeply saddened by her passing. Mary Lou’s warmth, kindness, and commitment to family and community will be remembered by all who knew her. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Jantz family and the entire Simmons Tractor family during this difficult time.

Her legacy will continue to live on through the business she loved, the family she cherished, and the countless lives she touched. ❤️
