We are responsible for Vital Records, Land Records, Notary Public, Absentee Ballots, Trade Name Certificates, Military Records, Hunting and Fishing Licenses, Records Management and Meeting Minutes.

Attention Derby residents and Route 8 drivers. Please know this letter was sent to all the towns and cities where Route 8 passes. This is the only comminication that we received from the State of Connecticut. It is a heads up to regular users of Route 8. Any detailed questions or comments should send directly to the State of Connecticut.

For the final chapter of our 350th Anniversary of the City and 250th Anniversary of our Country, we will be assembling another Time Capsule to be opened in the future.

As part of the project we have put together a preliminary list of items suggested to be place in the new time capsule.

Please let us know if you have any other ideas for inclusion in the Time Capsule by posting a comment.

This should be a fun historic project for the entire City of Derby. We hope you can help.
