After the Community Garage Sale with a Purpose: No Child Goes Hungry concluded on Saturday, remaining items were made available to various nonprofit and community organizations that requested donations to support their programs and initiatives.

➡️ All items still remaining will be available during a one-hour Fill-a-Bag Sale at 222 E. Madison in Derby from 7-8AM on Thursday, June 11. Bring a bag or box and fill it for $10. Any big items can be added on for an additional $5. This will be a cash-only sale; please bring exact change.

Following the Fill-a-Bag Sale, Derby High School's football team will help box up the clothing to donate to Cooper Elementary, providing families in the Oaklawn community at no cost during back-to-school conference times.

⚠️The Derby Hills Elementary playground will be closed for work until Monday, June 15. ⚠️

As a reminder, all nine of our elementary school playgrounds are equipped with an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant play set accessory and are open to the public when school or school programs (such as summer learning, Latchkey and PrimeTime) are not in session.

Community Garage Sale with a Purpose: No Child Goes Hungry - Last day is Saturday; June 6: 6:30AM-4PM.

➡️ Panther Pac will be cooking burgers and hot dogs each day of the sale from 10:30AM-2PM.

➡️ Mascot Mania: Join us on Saturday, June 6, 11AM-12PM, for a fun family activity where kids can meet all the Derby Public Schools mascots and special mascots from McConnell AFB and Culver's, along with free Culver’s custard (donations appreciated). Bring the kids by during the community garage sale, grab lunch from Panther Pac and/or custard from Culver's and stick around for the smiles! 💚 📸
