Make sure you save the date and help us celebrate 175 years of service to our community! We are hosting a car show Labor Day Weekend in the Village of Deposit! The show is open to cars, trucks, motorcycles and tractors! We will have different areas in the park for each category! We are also looking for fire departments and antique fire truck collectors to take part in the event! Judging will be done by Obsessed again this year!

Are you a vendor that would be interested in selling something at the show? We will have an area set up for a craft fair as well!

Everyone who attends will be able to see some amazing vehicles, get a bite to eat, enjoy some live music and do a little shopping while helping our Firefighters and E.M.S. Providers celebrate 175 years of service to our community!

In case you missed it, the new blacktop went down for the basketball courts at Firemen’s Park this week!

If you haven’t already seen it, the new path for the walking track at Firemen’s Park is done! We still have more work being done on the walking path in other areas around the park so be sure to continue to follow our page for more updates! In fact, the area around the basketball courts is closed right now due to our next big project that is underway. Drum roll please, the basketball courts are getting resurfaced! Once completed, you will not only be able to play basketball at the park again but you will also be able to use the surface for a variety of other sports including tennis and roller hockey!

It’s time for another update! We have improvements underway to our walking track! These improvements including rerouting the track around the front of the horseshoe pits area. The walking track will no longer go between the tracks and horseshoe pits. Now, it will curve around the east end of the horseshoe pits and connect in with the existing path in front of the buildings.
