Help us make Thanksgiving a little brighter for families! We’re collecting food and monetary donations for our Thanksgiving Meal Drive, and we’d love your help. The 2026 Community Schools Conference unites people from across Colorado and beyond to learn and grow the community schools movement. Attendees will learn from thought leaders and explore best practices for implementing the Community Schools strategy. This event is designed for anyone who believes in the power of schools and communities working together.

This year's keynote speaker, Heather Kennedy, is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Colorado School of Public Health and Director of the Hub for Youth Engagement. She has built her career around creating opportunities for young people to recognize and exercise their power to shape their communities.

Members of our Family Impact Project came together recently for our United for a Cause volunteer event!

During the event, families assembled kits for children in our in-home early learning program, ensuring they have the materials they need to continue learning and growing this year. They also assembled Curriculum Kits filled with resources that support young children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development.

We’re grateful to everyone who joined us and to the families who continue to make this work possible. Together, we’re helping children build a strong foundation for the future. 💙

Last week, our Tocqueville Society and community leaders gathered to learn more about the positive impact the new Joan Leprino Community Corner is already making in our community.

We also heard from Wes Allison, President and CEO of the National Western Stock Show, who shared his vision for the future of the Stock Show and reflected on the importance of honoring our roots as a city while continuing to adapt to the Denver of today.
