It was great to meet and talk with fellow Republicans at the Greeley Republican Breakfast this morning! Rep. Scott Slaugh and I shared the time discussing the past session, good, bad, and ugly bills and upcoming ballot initiatives, and what the interim looks like for each of us. I'm looking forward to spending a lot of time out and about in my district this summer and fall!

Weld County is the home to about 70% of Colorado's dairy farms, is consistently ranked among the top dairy-producing counties in the entire U.S., and Leprino cheese factory is in Greeley! Larimer County is also a top producer in Colorado and where my favorite Noosa yogurt is produced!

I enjoyed meeting with the Northern Colorado Legislative Alliance (NCLA) at their Legislative Wrap-Up tonight, held at The Hub in the Kinston neighborhood in HD65! NCLA members showed up at the capitol this past session to support or oppose a variety of bills, and their voices made a big difference! They represent various chambers, municipalities, and businesses of Northern Colorado, and legislators join their monthly meetings to learn how bills will affect their interests. I appreciate their knowledge and support!

Every Coloradan should take the opportunity to visit History Colorado to see the Freedom Plane documents over the next few weeks. The documents from the National Archives are only visiting 8 cities for the nation's 250th birthday, and these are OUR documents that helped forge our nation! These precious articles are only on display every few decades because of their fragility, and it was an honor to attend the exhibit opening last night.

The Colorado Legislature created its Youth Advisory Council to give teens ages 14-19 input in the legislative process. The is looking for new members from across CO, and we NEED rural representation! Make your voice heard here at the State Capitol!

Today I got to tour the water plant in Eaton, and I observed Water Bears (Tardigrades) under the microscope. This was really interesting! I also learned about the staffing and administrative challenges of our town, how Colorado's regulations impact them, and how Mr. Romero is meeting those challenges along with hopes for the future operations.

I'm shocked, angry, and disgusted about what I learned an hour ago. Hunter Rivera must be removed as Weld County GOP Chair and stripped of all other titles and duties he holds. There is no excuse, no reasoning, and zero tolerance for this vile behavior.

The sun has set on the last day, Sine Die, of the 120 days of the second session of the 75th General Assembly. It's my honor to serve the citizens of House District 65!

After a bit of down time and work at my other job, I'll be spending time out in the district having town hall meetings, attending town and district board meetings, spending time in all the towns for parades and festivals, and meeting with people to discuss ideas for possible bills next year.
