Our annual Read-a-Thon is coming soon! Read-A-Thons are a great way to get your reader excited about reading while raising funds for our school. This year we are doing something new: we will be doing “One School, One Book.” This is where each classroom will be reading the same book throughout the school in addition to the other reading we will be doing. The book this year will be 8 Class Pets + 1 Squirrel ÷ 1 Dog = Chaos by Vivian Vande Velde. The classes will be reading it throughout the week.
Our Read-A-Thon starts Monday, September 14, 2026. This is our annual fall fundraiser that helps support our classrooms by funding additional supplies for projects, help offset field trip costs, purchase pack party items, and much more.
We will be having our official kick-off on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. We will be sending home instructions on how to activate your reader's personal page on that day. This is where you will be able to view and record their progress.
We've chosen Read-A-Thon because it will not take much of your time, gives your child a reason to read and helps in the development of stronger reading skills.
We hope EVERYONE participates.
