Dr. Mordecai Brownlee, president of the Community College of Aurora, has announced that he will conclude his presidency this December following more than five years leading the institution. During his tenure, the Community College of Aurora experienced four consecutive years of record enrollment and retention, expanded academic and workforce programs, invested in student support services, and increased educational opportunities for students.

CDHE celebrates Dr. Brownlee's excellent leadership and his impact on Colorado's higher education systems. We are grateful for his dedication to student success and his belief in the possibilities unlocked through education.

Throughout the month, the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment and the state's workforce system, Workforce Colorado, will share resources and host events to celebrate the partnerships that help businesses thrive and Coloradans advance their careers.
