The VIPS program seeks first-rate volunteers to take on tasks in partnership with the men and women of the Denver Police Department serving the citizens of the Denver Metropolitan area. We seek to provide volunteers with rewarding and challenging positions, which enhances the capacity of the Police Department to make Denver a better and safer city. In 2016, 251 volunteers gave 26,272 hours to the Denver Police Department. The value of these hours equals $618,968 in savings for the City and County of Denver. Since the beginning of the VIPS Program in 2004, volunteers have given 421,106 hours, totaling a savings of more than $9.9 million.

🌟 Shout‑out to our incredible volunteers! 🌟
It’s amazing to look around and see how many opportunities we have for people to jump in, get involved, and make a real impact. Whether someone has twenty minutes or five hours, there’s always a place for them to do good work — and our volunteers show up every time.
We’re grateful for every hand raised, every moment spent, and every heart that chooses to serve. 💙
Here’s to the folks who make “doing good” look easy — and to the endless ways they make our community stronger.
Got a little time? There’s always room for one more. 😉✨
