"A Texas couple has been sentenced to seven years in federal prison each for enslaving a West African girl for more than 16 years until she escaped with the help of neighbors, the U.S. Department of Justice announced Monday."

Prosecutors say the Texas couple — members of "wealthy and powerful Guinean families" — forced the victim to clean, cook and take care of their kids.

DAVIS COUNTY, Utah (ABC4 News) - A Davis County man has been charged with kidnapping, r**e and s*x trafficking after a teen from Utah ended up in a Colorado hospital in 2017 saying the man had repeatedly s*xually assaulted her, r**ed her and then tried to force her into prostitution.
