✨Happy ! What an unforgettable evening at the AAPI Culture Fest & Civic Center Night Market this past Friday! 🏮

Thank you to the THOUSANDS of community members, families, artists, performers, vendors, and supporters who came together to celebrate the vibrant cultures, traditions, and contributions of Denver’s AAPI community. The energy, joy, and unity throughout Denver's Civic Center Park made the night truly special.

A huge thank you to all of our incredible partners who helped make this celebration possible, especially Denver Mayor Mike Johnston and the Civic Center Conservancy for their leadership and support in creating such a meaningful and welcoming space for our community.

From amazing food and performances to local businesses and cultural showcases, Friday night was a beautiful reminder of the strength, diversity, and spirit of our in Denver. 💛

We are grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make this celebration one to remember.

Until next year, Denver! 🎉

Last night, a young person lost their life due to senseless gun violence. No statement can sum up the grief we feel today. Our hearts are broken, and we are left stunned by the fact that our beloved Montbello Rec Center has become the site of such a terrible tragedy. My deepest sympathies are with the family and the Montbello community.

HAPPENING NOW: Today at Denver’s Immigrant & Refugee Town Hall hosted by our Immigrant & Refugee Commission, community members came together to hear directly from city leaders about the work being done every day to ensure everyone who calls Denver home feels welcomed, supported, and able to thrive.

Thank you to Mayor Mike Johnston, Denver Police Department Chief Ron Thomas, Denver Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Alex Marrero, Denver Health Medical Director Dr. Ro Pereira, our moderator, Denver Zoo Conservation Alliance CEO Cristal Torres DeHerera, and all the community partners who are now sharing information, answering questions, and helping strengthen connections across our city.

Denver is strongest when every community member, regardless of where they come from, has access to resources, opportunity, safety, and a sense of belonging. Grateful to everyone who attended and continues working to build a more inclusive and compassionate community.
