Meet Sally Alcantar, Kitchen Manager of the Month from Beach Court Elementary!
With 26 years at DPS FNS, Sally showed incredible flexibility on Colorado Proud Day—preparing and serving breakfast and lunch while managing 4 news channels in her cafeteria! When she’s not feeding students, Sally loves spending time with her kids and grandkids.

In just 7 years with DPS, Joansee has run an excellent program, trained his team with care, and earned a promotion through hard work. His favorite part of the job? The gratitude children show for his team’s work. Off the clock, he enjoys fishing and watching comedy and action movies!

Meet Hakima Fakir, Kitchen Manager of the Month from Holm Elementary!
With 10 years at DPS FNS, Hakima (along with her team) has kept Holm running smoothly despite being short-staffed all school year—preparing and serving every menu item daily! In her free time, Hakima loves to cook.
