Denver's historic train station, revitalized and featuring Colorado-created restaurants, local retail and the award-winning The Crawford Hotel.

Union Station now includes an extensive transportation hub, a custom-crafted line up of locally owned restaurants and shops, and a new 112 room hotel. The RTD rail lines and buses connect downtown and its surrounding communities as well as providing a direct railway from Union Station to Denver International Airport.

Calling all little ghosts, goblins, and ghouls! 👻🎃 Spooky season is taking over Denver Union Station for our 12th annual BOOnion Station!

Join us Thursday, October 29, from 4–7 PM for a frightfully fun evening of trick-or-treating throughout the Station, rides on the Rocky Mountain Mini Train, face painting, music from DJ Chris, and our annual costume contest with three grand prizes up for grabs! 🏆🍬

Bring the whole boo crew, show off your costumes, and celebrate Halloween with us!

As National Hispanic Heritage Month comes to a close, we're looking back on an unforgettable celebration of culture, community, and connection! 💃🎶

Our inaugural Ritmo y Raíces: A Latin American Heritage Celebration brought Denver Union Station to life with vibrant performances, music, dancing, and cultural traditions.

A heartfelt thank you to the Mexican Cultural Center, our incredible performers, community partners, and everyone who joined us to celebrate and honor Latin American heritage. ❤️

What a wunderbar day at Wieners on Wynkoop! A huge thank you to Mile High Dachshund Rescue, the German Cultural Foundation, and Chewy Vet Care for helping us bring this celebration to life. And to everyone who joined the festivities, prost! 🍺

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Sunday to celebrate, dance, and honor the vibrant cultures and traditions of Latin America. It was so special to see Denver Union Station come alive with music, movement, community, and culture. ❤️

A very special thank you to the Mexican Cultural Center for helping us bring this celebration to life, along with our incredible performers, community partners, and everyone who came out to celebrate with us.

Hispanic Heritage Month officially begins September 15, and we were honored to kick off the celebrations a little early. ¡Gracias, Denver! 🇲🇽🇨🇴🇵🇪

Nearly five years after Colorado became a state, Denver Union Station opened its doors in 1881.

These historic images offer a glimpse of the original station, built during Colorado’s earliest years of statehood. At the time, Denver Union Depot stood as one of the tallest buildings in the West, with its iconic clock tower becoming a defining part of Denver’s skyline.

The original station was later transformed after the 1894 fire that destroyed its Central Hall and Clock Tower, but its role as a gathering place and connection point for Colorado continued.

For nearly 150 years, Denver Union Station has been part of the stories, celebrations, and moments that have shaped our state.

As we celebrate Colorado’s 150th birthday during Spirit of the Centennial State on Saturday, August 1, we invite you to join us in honoring the history, culture, and community that make Colorado so special.

Celebrate with us from 11 AM–5 PM for a free, family-friendly day of live performances, local flavors, cultural experiences, and more throughout the station and plaza ✨
