SAME Cafe is a donation-based, fair exchange restaurant that serves healthy food to everyone, regardless of ability to pay. Their mission is to create community through healthy food access. They believe in healthy food, community, and dignity for everyone. SAME Café is the first nonprofit restaurant in Denver! Everyone who comes through the door is treated exactly the same. Guests order from the healthy menu of mostly local, organic food and then let them know how they would like to participate in the community in exchange for the meal: volunteering time, giving produce, or donating money. Our members are passionate about changing their communities, and we are passionate about providing them with the tools they need to continue their good work.

Social Enterprise Alliance – Colorado Chapter (SEA CO Chapter) is a group of social entrepreneurs working to solve critical social problems and address basic unmet needs through innovation. Our entrepreneurial endeavors create system change, improving the lives of underserved or marginalized groups in our communities. We are a part of Social Enterprise Alliance - the national membership organization and key catalyst for the rapidly growing social enterprise movement in the United States. They provide social enterprises and social entrepreneurs with the resources they need to succeed, support and grow social entrepreneurship on a national scale and serve as a voice for more sustainable social impact.

One of the most interesting and exciting aspects of social enterprise’s evolution is the growing variety of issues being addressed by social enterprises. Today, social enterprises and social entrepreneurs are correcting market failures across every industry and tackling social challenges throughout every corner of the world creating impact in areas as diverse as education, health, technology and more.
