Have a lesson learned worth sharing? 💡

The deadline to submit an abstract for the 2027 AWWA/WEF Utility Management Conference (UMC) has been extended to September 10th.

UMC is where utility leaders come together to exchange practical strategies, real-world case studies, and proven approaches for managing today's challenges and preparing for tomorrow's opportunities.

Day two of our Water Infrastructure Conference ( ) has been memorable! A few session highlights include learning about how water utilities prepare for special events (like the World Cup and the Olympics!), water hammer, and design-build case studies. Plus, we had fun learning about how dogs can potentially help in leak detection. 🐕 🌎

We've met attendees from around the globe this week. It's been a joy to meet you and engage in meaningful conversations around today's most pressing water infrastructure challenges. Thank YOU for being a part of the AWWA community and coming together at WIC. 🩵💧One more awesome day of WIC tomorrow!

Day one of our Water Infrastructure Conference ( ) was EPIC! 📸

We kicked off with a great keynote by David Choate of American Water on "How do we prioritize investments when nearly everything feels important and everything feels expensive?" Followed by a thought-provoking utility leader panel discussion on the topic.

This week, the exhibit hall has an amazing energy with quality conversations and connections, and the technical sessions are full of thoughtful insights and questions. Already, we sat in on a few sessions covering financing, asset management, and cybersecurity.

See you bright and early tomorrow morning for more deep dives into all things water infrastructure! 🩵💧
