Dear Parents and Guardians of Harrington Students,
This afternoon were experienced an unsafe situation outside of our building and for the safety of your children and our staff, our leadership team opted to place the school on a lockout. During a “lockout”, students are asked to remain inside of the building and are only dismissed when it is safe or when it is being monitored closely.
Today, we opted to release students from only the green and yellow doors, because the incident was taking place on the north side of the campus. We felt that the situation was contained and that dismissal did not pose a risk to the safety of your family or children.
Please note that your children were safe at all times, and again we made this decision as a precautionary measure.
