We strive to offer our support and expertise in order to help these survivors and immigrants to recover, heal, and restart their lives again while they work toward becoming independent and self-sufficient in State of Colorado. ly employ the use of torture and other forms of cruel and degrading treatments to break the strength, value, psychosocial, cultural and traditional bonds and connections that their citizens have within their societies, families, and communities. Thus, at [CIIS], we believe that as torture is cruel and degrading, it has absolutely no place in human society and amongst human beings; therefore, torture must be condemned nationally and internationally by all- irrespective of color, creed, nationality, or status.
