As a reminder, the deadline is noon Friday, Sept. 18, to provide written input on three Nov. 3, 2026, TABOR ballot questions in Aurora,

The Aurora City Clerk's Office is accepting comments at EngageAurora.org/BallotComments for and against questions in the Ballot Issue Notice.

The three TABOR ballot questions in Aurora relate to:
• Dedicated sales tax for community facilities
• Dedicated sales tax for public safety infrastructure and facilities
• Dedicated sales tax for transportation infrastructure and facilities

The complete ballot questions and comment forms are available at EngageAurora.org/BallotComments.

Anyone who wishes to submit a comment must be registered on Engage Aurora as a participant (click on Register at the top of the website to create a login or log in if you are already registered).

All comments must be submitted by noon Sept. 18 via the website. Only comments from registered electors of the city of Aurora will be included in the summaries. Comments filed separately with the County Clerk’s Office will not be summarized.

Colorado law requires local governments to prepare and distribute an election notice, referred to as a TABOR Notice, for ballot questions that are subject to the Taxpayer’s Bill of Rights (TABOR). The TABOR Notice provides important information about each ballot question, including the official ballot language and summaries of arguments for and against the measure.
