The Pigeon began a journey around the state by meeting some prehistoric friends at the Englewood Public Library - Englewood, Colorado. Dinosaurs took over the library for the summer reading program: Un-Earth a Story! Children of all ages can participate in the summer reading program, attend events, and collect prizes by reading all summer long. The Pigeon started summer reading by reading a classic: "The Pigeon HAS to Go to School!"

For What's Up Wednesday, we’re sharing what happens when educators start teaching in teams.

At Wiggins Elementary in Wiggins School District, fourth- and fifth-grade teachers share students, specialize in subject areas, and plan instruction together through a team-based teaching model. This allows for more targeted support for students and improved teacher morale.

Teachers say the approach helps them better meet student needs and focus on their individual strengths as educators.
