Celebrate our local heroes this weekend with FREE admission at the Denver Firefighters Museum! 🚒🚓

Join us this Saturday, August 29 for First Responders Free Day. The entire museum is free to visit from 10 AM to 4 PM! Bring the whole family down to explore historic firehouse exhibits, dive into interactive displays, and learn how our local agencies work together to keep Denver safe.

⚠️ PLAN YOUR VISIT: Special activities and visiting personnel are only on-site from 10 AM to 2 PM. Don't miss out on these exclusive daytime features:
Meet the Heroes: Chat with real-life first responders from Denver Fire, Denver Police Museum, Denver 9-1-1, and Rampart Search and Rescue.
Get Crafty: Kids can design and create their very own custom first responder badge to take home.
Show Gratitude: Visit our thank-you station to write a letter of appreciation to local first responders.

Calling all parents of mini-firefighters! 🧑‍🚒🧒

You are never too young to learn fire safety! Bring your preschoolers to the Denver Firefighters Museum for Squirt's Fire Safety Class. This hands-on, engaging workshop is specifically designed for preschool-aged children and their adults to learn and practice life-saving skills together.

Through interactive stories, fun videos, and activities, your little ones will master crucial concepts like "Crawl Low Under Smoke" and how to spot safe tools versus toys.

Sundays in August just got a lot more exciting—and parking is on us! 🚒☀️

We are hosting two exclusive, after-hours Vehicle Deep Dive events at the Denver Firefighters Museum. Discover how fire apparatus evolved from 1860s hand-pulled pumpers to today’s mechanized behemoths.

Here is the lineup:
🐴 Aug 16 (1:30–3:30 PM) | Pumpers and Percherons: See real, working horses in action right in front of the museum!
🔧 Aug 23 (1:30–3:30 PM) | Days of Combustion: Hear insider stories from a former firefighter about our mechanized vehicles.

💰 Cost: $10.00 per person per event.
🚗 Bonus: Street parking in downtown Denver is completely FREE on Sundays!
