Denver City Economic Development Corporation DCEDC is a Type A EDC whose goal is to support local businesses and attract new business to our amazing community.

DCEDC has given top priority to attracting and supporting enterprises which will result in job creation and retention of primary jobs, and which will result in "new dollars" being brought into the Denver City area economy. There are four types of projects that DCEDC is UNABLE to fund without voter approval: Commercial projects (except in blighted or development areas), park projects, retail projec

ts, and professional services. One other exclusion is a project which has the primary purpose of furnishing facilities to the general public. DCEDC has given top priority to attracting and supporting the following enterprises:
• Oil & Gas
• Manufacturing & Processing
• Industrial
• Distribution
• Regional Wholesale
• Service (relating to manufacturing, industrial, distribution and wholesaling)
• Technology Firms

🚧 Trail Closure Notice 🚧

The Denver City Recreational Trail will be closed next week, May 25th–29th, from 7:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. each day while contractors perform tree trimming, dead tree removal, and general cleanup along the trail.

This work is being done to help improve the safety and appearance of the trail. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this temporary closure.

Denver City Facade Improvement Program

The Denver City Economic Development Corporation is excited to launch our Facade Improvement Program — created to help local businesses enhance the appearance of their storefronts and promote community pride!

Program Highlights:

Annual Budget: $100,000

Who’s Eligible: Businesses located within Denver City city limits

Funding Type: Matching grant — EDC covers 50% of project costs (up to the caps below)

Eligible Improvements:

Awnings – 50% match up to $5,000

Signs / Facade Upgrades – 50% match up to $5,000

Exterior Painting – 50% match up to $2,500

How It Works:

1. Apply with a short form and photos of your current building.

2. The EDC reviews your project for eligibility and approval.

3. Once approved, complete your project and submit receipts.

4. Receive reimbursement for your matching amount!

Funds are limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
