Every child deserves a safe, loving home—and whenever possible, staying connected with family makes all the difference. 🏠❤️
September is National Kinship Care Month, and CASA of Caroline is celebrating the incredible kinship caregivers in our community.
Why Kinship Care Matters:
• Familiarity & Comfort: Keeps children connected to their community, culture, and loved ones.
• Reduces Trauma: Helps children transition into safe living situations with people they already know and trust.
• Fosters Resilience: Strengthens long-term emotional well-being and academic success.
Advocates work closely with kinship caregivers to ensure children in foster care receive the advocacy, resources, and support they need to flourish.
