We appreciate this shout out!

Big things are happening across Southwest Denton County!

TBK - The Bees Knees has reopened in its beautiful new Argyle location, filled with women’s fashion, home décor, unique gifts, and plenty of mahjong favorites.

Function Coffee Co is now brewing in Northlake, serving expertly crafted coffee and specialty drinks in a welcoming space made for working, gathering, or simply enjoying your cup of joe.

Interfaith Denton is continuing its important work supporting local families with emergency assistance, affordable housing advocacy, transportation help, hygiene supplies, diapers, and other essential resources.

New places to shop and sip, plus neighbors making a difference. That’s what community is all about!

Interfaith Denton does not often post about what we do. But here is how today went:
1. Helped 4 families with getting docs together to pay for their utility bill. While we don't have funds for rental assistance- WE CAN HELP with up to $400 for utilities. That frees up part of a paycheck to go to rent and groceries. We are so grateful for this partnership with The City of Denton, TX
2. Delivered one month gozone pass to the principal at a local elementary school. A pregnant momma is without a car- and this will help her get her kiddo to school. Since we know momma is having a baby soon, we included some newborn diapers and maxi pads in her care package. We love partnering with
3. Bought 10 more fans with our TXU donation. While we are having this cool 93 degree day- it's still hot. Come grab a fan to . We love our partnership with TXU TXU Energy!
4. Went to DCTA and got a monthly pass for a man to help him keep going to his job. We love our grant from Denton Benefit League that allows us to offer these passes!

And we always share the places in our community where you can get free food!
So- it's a lot of little things- making a big impact in Lil d. Our office cat, Oliver, approves of this message. Cool cats help.
