I’m seeing claims online that Universal Kids Resort in Frisco has a transgender spokesperson. Since this resort is specifically marketed toward young children and families, I think parents deserve clear and transparent information directly from the company. If these reports are true, Universal should address questions openly rather than leaving families to sort through rumors online. Parents have every right to know what values and messaging are being presented in spaces designed for children. The focus should remain on creating an environment where families feel informed and comfortable about the experiences being offered. We must protect our children!

If you live in Frisco or Denton, or know someone who does, early voting begins tomorrow for the municipal runoffs.

The Denton County Republican Party has endorsed Rod Vilhauer for Frisco Mayor and Erica Garland for Denton City Council. Earning the party’s endorsement is no small feat. Candidates must receive support from two-thirds of the County Executive Committee, a very high standard that reflects strong confidence in their leadership and qualifications.

Now it’s time to turn that support into votes. Please share this information with your friends, family, and neighbors, and make a plan to vote during early voting. Every vote matters.
