Denton County Soil and Water Conservation District The Denton County SWCD promotes land and water stweardship and landowner sustainability by working with landwoners and partners, such as the USDA NRCS.

The Denton County SWCD is a subdivision of state government, created at the request of landowners in the county. A 5-member Board of Directors, primarily farmers and ranchers, are elected by landowners in the county. We are commited to building relationships and serving the landowners of Denton County to improve the land and water resouces in our county.
